Job Title: Smart Device Repair Technician
Pay Rate: $10 / hr. Training ; $12 / hr.
Job Purpose: Serve customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing smart devices to working order while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks to generate receipts

Ability to work flexible hours -- including weekends

High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)

Experience in repairing electronics, smart devices, Mac and game consoles

Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics

Experience working at retail electronics stores or at major carriers (i.e. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile)
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair smart devices
-
Provide recommendations and solutions that ensure customer loyalty

Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, easy-to-understand manner

Calculate repair and replacement cost estimates to customers
-
Ensure all repairs meet or exceed Broke Ass Phone quality standards

Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment

Answer phone calls with a courteous and professional demeanor

Account for all devices and store inventory

Utilize the point-of-sale system to create receipts and track repairs

Provide quality repairs using only the parts necessary to return devices to perfect working order

Perform complete quality control checks on every smart device

Supply professional cleaning services on mobile devices

Maintain the work area, store and equipment in a clean, professional appearance

Assist other departments as needed
